Dosa Experience
Dosa Experience
On March 8th, 2024, I had the pleasure of joining my friend from my business network for a cultural experience at her home, in celebration of her upcoming birthday. Together, we carefully planned the menu, taking into account her love for food and different cultures. After much discussion, we settled on a delectable spread of Dosa, fish fry, paneer 65, vegetable kurma,Milagai killi pota Saambhar, coconut chutney, and coriander chutney. As an added touch, I planned to make three varieties of dosa- plain, potato-stuffed, and paneer-stuffed.
On the day of the event, I arrived at her house at 4 pm, and she warmly welcomed me. While she and her friends eagerly awaited the festivities, I got to work preparing the fish and paneer fry. They were intrigued by the bold flavors and freshly ground spices used in the marination, and we had a lively conversation about the origin of these spices and how they came to India. As the guests enjoyed the appetizers, I continued to work on the other sides for the Dosa.
In just 4 hours, everything was ready, including dinner, and the guests were raving about the cultural feast. I felt a sense of satisfaction in providing them with the experience they desired. It was a memorable evening filled with great food, engaging conversations, and a celebration of different cultures.
